The band is just getting started with the release of My Vertigo, and Give Into the Funk. Van Ryan and The Starfighters are due to drop a second release this month, The Revolutionaries Reply. As if that wasn’t enough, the band is in the midst of putting together a novel of an album, due to drop in 2025, one that is deeply personal and touches on the prolific. Some familiar songs will be included, "Songs like, My Vertigo, which is featured as a fight song, is actually a heartbreak of my own," Van Ryan half laughs as he explains, "...it's about trying everything you can to love someone and finally realizing the sucker punch is you." And he adds, "Sometimes saying your realizations aloud allows you to move on. At least, that's what this song did for me."
